Info on this Announcement:
– This is a modern communication channel version (using Discord) to replace the original “Monday Night Chat” that used IRC.
– This 24×7 forum is intended to be an in-between SRS meetings & events chat, projects sharing, Q&A and text\voice connections medium.

How to sign-up and use this:
1) Using the invite link above, create a new account or if already on Discord, login using your credentials.
2) This SRS chat is a Discord Server and is required to be invite only, therefore the unique URL provided is needed for access.
3) Once logged in, you will see the name of your server as “SRS Chat”
4) Very easy to use and navigate – you communicate via either textual content (including URLs, document uploads etc) or you can connect with others via video or voice (under the 1 Voice Channel).
There are 2 textual content channels – 1 general purpose, 2nd to submit your name and presentation topic for an upcoming SRS meeting.
5) To log out, lower left of screen click the gear icon, using your mouse over the left-hand column scroll to the bottom and click Log out.
6) To log back in, go to https://discord.com/login and enter your new or existing login credentials.
